Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity

Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.

Since its inception in 1984, Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity has partnered with families in our area to help them build or improve a place they can call home. In the past year alone, Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity has helped seven local families achieve the dream of homeownership. And, with your help, we can do even more.

There are many ways you can get involved with Champlain Valley Habitat for Humanity. You can donate money or materials, volunteer your time on one of our construction projects, or become a partner family. No matter how you choose to get involved, know that your support will help us provide simple, decent housing for families in need both locally and globally. Thanks for considering Champlain Valley.
